  1. OBS/Streamlabs/whatever your using for streaming should be able to see “streaming” as a mic for audio input. Look up Soundflower or Black Hole. These are the Virtual Audio Cables for Mac that you'll need. Then create multi output device in your MIDI Setup.
  2. Hey guys I've really hit a road block here. I recently just upgraded to the new Mac mini 2018 (64gb bad ass). I do Audio Production through Logic Pro X and want to stream it for fun. I'm using a Behringer UMC22 as my interface with an AT2020 Mic for talking (very simple and affordable set up).
  3. With the release of Streamlabs OBS for Mac, a common question is “Why can’t I capture desktop audio?”. Unlike Windows, macOS does not have any system-level audio routing. This means that individual apps can’t access audio signal from other apps out of the box. However, there are third party solutions that can accomplish this.
  4. Only way I was able to get audio from the iPad to Streamlabs was to use an analog audio connection from the iPad to the Line In on the Mac Mini. Then, to monitor the audio, I had to open QuickTime. Yeah, far from ideal. Since Twitch Studio is able to do this, it is possible and hope Streamlabs supports this sometime in the near future.

In Streamlabs OBS disable all “Desktop Audio Device” captures in the Audio Settings and instread you will use the “recording” end of the virtual output as a Mic/Auxiliary Device. Select VoiceMeeter Output (VB-Audio VoiceMeeter VAIO) as the Mic/Auxiliary Device 1.

My Mac laptop is just not fast enough to even get it to configure and work.
Also, a lot of my settings and such for my working Streamlab OBS is on my laptop, is it possible I can transfer these settings over to my Mac MINI
as it took me over a week to go over these settings, and I don't even remember what I did.
Are there any other folders that might contain Application specific files?
Please help

Hello Guys!
I'm trying to setup OBS, but when I try to choose setup 'Audio Output Capture', I can't choose a device, it's empty.
The same goes for 'Desktop Audio', it's set on disabled, and I can't change it to my headset or anything else.
When I try to livestream on YouTube on my own channel, and I'm in a party in either Discord or Skype with a friend, my voice is loud and clear in the stream, but his voice is very low. The same goes if I play a random YouTube video, the sound of the video is very low in the stream.
BTW, I'm using MacBook Pro, and my headset is a wireless HyperX Cloud Flight with a USB dongle to connect.
Hope I can get this problem solved!
