Recent improvement I complained about a month ago that Grandpa had begun to win 75% or more of all games played, and often doing so with a late unrealistic surge that was extremely frustrating. Not sure if the 'go' is working properly If one player is out of cards, and there's a 'go', the game will sometimes score a point for both players..I think. Last card is then also given. Not sure if that's correct.

Reduced by a star OK so the graphics suck and it can be slow to move the game on after pressing 'DONE', but the pros vastly outweigh these cons. Ads are few and non-intrusive. Easy to play anytime anywhere (i.e. offline). Hands are fair. Doesn't demand access to your device's identity, media files, call information etc. like so many other games. Update April 2016: Latest upgrades have made it worse. Lost a star from me.
I like that the game has progressively gotten better and more difficult, although I would like to see the game be a bit harder. I really do not understand why other reviewers say this game cheats, I win over 2/3 of the time. To say that it cheats is totally laughable. I would actually warn off people who are very skilled at cribbage as this game may not be enough of a challenge. The graphics look great on my old s3 as well as my new Kindle. It is also just as responsive on the old s3. The ads are not that bad, most games on here are much worse, intentionally placing ads in areas to make you accidentally click them. The developer is very responsive to feedback and even cleaned up the graphics after I pointed out some choppiness on my tablet that I had not noticed on my phone.

Used to be great, ads and increased cheating in most recent update ruined it Regarding the developer's defensive comments, the software is billed as no ads during play, which is intentionally deceptive, as there are ADS during the scoring after EACH AND EVERY hand. As for the cheating, I have no idea what motivation the developer would have in giving the computer an edge, but having played a lot of real cribbage with real cards, it is very rare for any player to have back to back to back 16+ point hands. Download this app only if you want to see ads after every hand is scored and don't care if the hands are realistic or scoring is accurate. There are better free cribbage apps out there without the frequent, annoying ad banners. Original review: Was great, ads and gross cheating ruined it. Among other issues in the most recent update, full screen width banner ads over the cards during scoring are intolerable. Ads used to occur only after a game finished. Scoring and hands are also weighted heavily in favor of the computer; in other words, it cheats more than it did (honestly, all computer cribbage games cheat, finding one that doesn't cheat horribly is the trick). Unable to stop a game and start over. Observed apparent peg scoring errors. Awful.

Good but.. It's free, so can't complain. It is buggy though. Frequently says I've won & vice-versa, when in fact it's the other way round. It's a niggle, but if you can live with it, it's a good free crib game without too many distractions
Excellent app Very good game for free and no unnecessary intrusive permissions. Nice graphics on a Samsung S3 and a Samsung Tab 3 10.1'. Good game play; seems to play fair to me. Nice enough that I got the paid version.

Excellent bordering on perfect! The latest update improves this game enormously - gone is the patronising kiddo and the game play is much smoother. It still makes mistakes during play - but don't we all (well., most of us). One tiny tiny improvement - put the brief 'discard..' message higher on the screen. I'm ready to pay for the ad-free version. We'll done!
Best Crib App I've Found But.. The update was not of much value if any. I have had to restart 3 or 4 times now because it only counts 3 cards while scoring. Maybe it's just my phone, but kind of annoying.

Updates not cool I did like this game now I am not impressed with the updates. I used to feel like I was actually playing with Grandpa now it says dealer hand and non dealer hand whats up with that??? Also when drawing a card I dont like having to drag to my hand its just a draw before the update I just tapped and it flipped.

Questionable dealings now I have played the updated GC twice, both times Gramps got a 24 hand. Seriously? This is why I uninstalled that other cribbage game.
Too easy I would like to see a tab to adjust skill level. I know how to play, but i keep skunking g'pa. Im good but not that good. Well after 240 games, g'pa has gotten 20 & 24 point hands an unreasonable amount compared to me. I haven't seen one for a long time. I have decided I have to cheat to keep it fair.
Cheats big time This game is a good game but it is not very fun to play because just like ever other game that you play against the computer it cheats bad fix please. This game is very obvious that it cheats very badly. Why play when you know that the computer is going to win every time. Why even play. There is no challenge to play. You still have not fixed it. I would like too see one improvement.n indicator of whose crib I'm sending my cards to. /hp-officejet-pro-8600-plus-printer-download-for-mac/. This is a problem if I change my mind while selecting the cards to put in the crib or the game is interrupted. There is no way to see which crib the cards are going to and impacts the selection of cards. Please add an indicator of whose crib it is. Initially this is displayed. However, if you get interrupted during card selection or change your mind about the cards selected and you forget, you then can't tell whose crib it is. Thanks.
Quite Good It's quick to learn Grandpa's strategies to beat him. Nevertheless, the game is entertaining. This game compares well against other cribbage apps. Maybe someday gaming AI will be good enough to make human-like mistakes and it will be possible to mug, or be mugged by, computer opponents. The electronic game will have the true character of cribbage then.
Minor bugs on Nexus 6 Game play works as expected. Graphics are pretty lame on Nexus 6. Bug displaying cribbage board and back ground during game play. Bug displaying game statistics at end of game after full screen ad pops up. I like the game, but based on the fact that this game does not fully support the higher graphics of Nexus 6, I would not purchase the full game. Not sure if there are additional features in the paid version, but I'd like to see modes for counting your own cards and Muggins.

Resume bug Enjoyable to play. The quirk that annoys me is the resume function restarts the game. The score of the game in progress gets zeroed.
Counting is off The counting is off. For instance, on the pay to 31, if I play a card and G-pa cant play it automatically gives me 1 point, but if I am still able to play to hit 31, then it gives me another 2 points for a total of 3 instead of 2. Otherwise easy to play and good. Only 2 stars for counting issue, otherwise would be 5. Update: I am encountering more counting issues. Quite annoying. Also how is it that after I have a good game and beat the computer, the next game it completely destroys me? I just finished playing and my cribs were 0 -0 - 2 - 4 - 0 - 0. How in having 6 cribs there is only 6 points total? And this has happened multiple times. I skunked the computer the other day and then lost the next game 121 - 42.. and it seems that happens often. I truly like the layout and the design of your app, but there are some serious bugs to fix.
OK This game could be great if it seemed to 'cheat' less. I have been 40 points ahead, then within 2-3 hands, been 20 points behind and lose. It's not constant, but seems to be random streaks of this. That being the only issue, I would still recommend this game to anyone. who likes cribbage.
Rigged, Rigged, Rigged If you enjoy getting dealt a double run 60 percent of the time, and being able to count on the cut giving you one the rest of the time, then play this. Rigged, rigged, rigged. Maybe Grandpa could add an option for 'just deal the cards normally'.
More Bugs to fix!!! I love this game. Play everyday and all nights. Please accept these constructive critics. Notice the board game display is a joke. The pegs show ridiculous score on the board. Thank god for the red and blue score so I can follow!!!! Secondly, it may be cool to play on a pad, but on a phone, the white messages are a bit small for grandpa's eyes. Finally, if you throw cards in the cribb but change your mind, the indication of who own it doesn't reappear. A bit confusing after a couple games in a row. :-D

Unrealistic Impossible to get a cut. Grandpa gets constant 12+ hands. Have played thousands of times. Hands like that constantly never happens. This garbage continues as of October 11, 2014. Going to quit playing. Junk, needs to be fixed.
Found a glitch Not counting the Crib's flush. All in the hand and not the cut card, which if counted would be five.
Rediculous It's hard enough to believe 7 J's can be cut in 2 games but computer got the knobs all 7 cuts. This makes 14 J's cut in 5 games and 14 knobs for computer. This is pathetic. So so sick of computer getting 4-14,6-16,4-12 etc. game after game along with three and four of the same card dealt in one hand practicly every game I'm uninstalling. This game isn't even close to reality. It screws up counting. I tripled for 6 I got 2.
